Commentary: The original context of this wineskin cipher is Jesus choosing his disciples. The first part of this chapter 5 describes Jesus calling Peter, Andrew, James, John and Matthew to be his disciples. Jesus did not choose any Hebrew priest who practiced the Law of Moses having drunk old wine, because of the difficulty of teaching disciples with prior learning as compared to teaching new, uneducated disciples with empty wine-skins. The old wine-skin of Judaism could not be gradually reformed. It had to be replaced by the New Covenant with a new wine-skin.
Fast-forward to today with an old wine-skin size 3, and Jesus calling for disciples with a wine-skin size 4, shaped like the cross of YHWH God. Can one with a wine-skin size 3 adopt the new wine-skin size 4 taught by Jesus’ Witness Cipher? No man having drunk old wine desireth new. However, backwind the tape to Cipher 3 to see the old original wine-skin size 4, that waits for one who says, The old is good.
