Translation Resources

The first resource used for translation begins with translation legacy:  A Bible publication reset back to 1901 was needed. The FTV Bible uses the American Standard Version of 1901 (ASV) for its starting textual base. The ASV is an Americanization of the English Revised Bible (RV) of 1885, which is an update of the KJV to less archaic spelling and greater accuracy of translation. The ASV is the product of the work of over 50 Evangelical Christian scholars that has been called “The Rock of Biblical Honesty.” The goal of the FTV Bible is to carry forward this legacy of Biblical Honesty with recognition of the feminine attributes of God as well as His masculine attributes.

In the Dead Sea Scrolls it is written in Genesis 1:26 and 27 that God created humankind—not the word man. The FTV translation uses humankind that naturally follows ten occurrences of after their kind, like evolution.  This FTV translation removes the word man from the spiritual Creation that generates the notion that God is masculine only. Now it is easier to see something female inherent to God when it is now written in Genesis 1:27: And God created humankind in his own image, in the image of God created he him them; male and female he created them. It also helps clarify the distinction between the spiritual creation and the physical creation. A physical man is created later in Genesis 2:5,  And YHWH God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living being. It is written living being in the Dead Sea Scrolls Bible, not living souls.

In the Dead Sea Scrolls Bible it is written in Genesis 1:5: God called the light daytime. In this way the spiritual good (Holy) Light was eternalized to be part of an eternal clock. Daytime is two things, which can be two words; day and time.  So there are four things in Genesis 1:5 like an eternal clock of God: evening, morning, Light-daytime and Day, not unlike a Cross. The FTV translation uses daytime instead of day.

One Old Testament resource is the “Hebrew – English Bible According to Masoretic Text, JPS 1917 Edition.”  It shows the Hebrew special punctuation marker, {P} the petuHah, (new paragraph on new line) which is hardly ever used in the Hebrew text. However, in the Creation it is used six times to separate six paragraphs of evening, morning, and day with a total count of 666 on the 6th day. It is a required count because each paragraph begins with And. Then on the 7th day there is a written count of seventh day, seventh day and seventh day. These three written totals again require that evening, morning, and day be counted together in order to finish with 777. These counts are validated by science, where 666 is the atomic image of carbon-based life on earth, and 777 is the atomic image of nitrogen’s 77.7% of the atmosphere. The FTV translates the Creation with this format.

The Greek Tischendorf 8th Edition 1894 is the Greek resource used for New Testament translation.  It is important to understand the usage of Jesus Christ verses Christ Jesus by the Apostle Paul. This usage distinguishes the Son of Man from the Son of God. These two identities of Jesus help distinguish two gospels from each other for two different time periods, and two different audiences. Most previous Bibles, including the ASV, have not been accurate. It is not necessary to be proficient in Greek to see that χριστου ιησου is Christ Jesus, and ιησου χριστου is Jesus Christ. The FTV Bible translates Christ Jesus vs Jesus Christ using the Greek Tischendorf as the reference.

The FTV Bible replaces the masculine word “sons of light” in both John 12:36 and 1 Thesselonians 5:5 with children of Light in accordance with the Greek Tischendorf .

Most modern Bibles corrupt the numbers in the bible. One example is Jesus testified to the Eternal Gospel with a double witness from heaven and earth.  According to the ASV, verily 25 times, and verily 25 times again in the Book of John is 50, prophecies 50 days to Pentecost spanning two ages. One rule of interpretation through the cross is that there must be a double witness: one from heaven and one from earth. It is interpreted that the first witness from earth was 25 from the Son of Man who was incarnate on earth. The second witness from heaven was 25 from the Son of God in heaven. It fulfills in heaven and earth the number of Jesus’ New Covenant Last Supper with 12 portions of bread, 1 servant (Jesus) and 12 portions of wine to equal 25.  We know these 25 tenets were spoken on the Day of Pentecost because 120 in the upper room times 25 tenets is 3000 baptized that day.

Examples from various Bible publications that remove the double witness count of the verily, verily precision prophecy from Jesus seem almost endless as follows: “most assuredly,” “very truly,” “most certainly,” “in most solemn truth,”  “truly,”  “I assure you and most solemnly,”  “in all truth,”  “I tell you the truth,”  “very truly,” and “yes indeed.” Yes indeed these phrases and many more corrupt the holy number of forgiveness; 50.

The FTV Bible does not use verily, verily, or truly, truly. Instead from the Greek Tischendorf , αμην αμην is translated to be amen, amen. It is spoken to express a double solemn ratification or agreement. So there are then two witnesses, one from heaven and one from earth that are in agreement. This agreement is written in the FTV Bible 25 times capitalized as AMEN, AMEN, as confirmed in Rev 3:14.

Many numbers have been simply mistranslated. For example in Matthew 18:21-22 Bibles have mistranslated Jesus’ answer to Peter’s question, if seven times forgiveness is enough. Beginning with the KJV 1611 in most Bibles, if not all, it is written “seventy times seven,” which equals 490. In the Greek Tischendorf  the number is εβδομηκοντακις επτα, which is “seventy seven.” In the FTV Jesus response is seventy-seven times, which is the signature number of Jesus, and which is the same number seventy-seven times that Lamech, the father of Noah, will be forgiven (Gen 4:24).

Another way that all previous English translations decrease the importance of biblical numbers is to reduce their accuracy. In Acts we know that 120 in the upper room times the 25 tenets of the Eternal Gospel is 3000 baptized that day. However, the KJV 1611, and all following English Bibles, have added “about” 120 and “about” 3000 baptized that day. The sacred number 25 was compromised by adding “about.”  In the Greek Tishendorf there is no “about.” This FTV Bible does not use “about” before these numbers. This just another example of how the FTV protects the significant numbers in the Bible.

One problem resolved with the Greek Tischendorf is Luke’s ascending-to-God genealogy of Jesus, the Son of God.  It is a supernatural ascending count of 76 patriarchs plus Jesus, which is a total of 77.  The connection between each Patriarch in existing Bibles is the phrase the (son) of or sometimes the son of.  This could be true for the naturally descending Matthew genealogy of the Son of Man, but not for Luke’s supernatural ascending genealogy, that are backward supernatural generations.  It is a mistranslation. According to the Greek Tischendorf the connection between ascending patriarchs is of only, and this translation is incorporated in the FTV Bible. Also in accordance with the Greek Tishendorf the phrase (as was supposed) was removed from Luke 3:23.

Another resource is Strong’s Concordance.  Strong’s Hebrew Number 7307 in the Concordance shows the Hebrew word for “Spirit” to be a feminine gendered noun. In Hebrew it is transliterated “ruach.” Definition: breath, wind, spirit. In the FTV both the Old and New Testament “Spirit” is feminine.

Strong’s Aramaic number 7308 also shows the Aramaic word for “Spirit” to be a feminine gendered noun corresponding to “ruach.” Definition: spirit, wind.

Strong’s Hebrew Concordance Number 216 defines “Light.” The FTV translates the Genesis 1 Creation (Gen 1:1 to Gen 2:4) to be a spiritual creation, because there was no man to cultivate the ground in Genesis 2:5.  So, the Light in Genesis 1:3-5 could only be Spiritual Light, since there was no sun, or moon or stars yet on the first day. Then God called the Light good, which is holy. (Jesus said: None is good save one, God. Mark 10:18) Therefore, in the first day of the Spiritual Creation there was Holy Spiritual Light, who is translated in the FTV to be the feminine Most High Holy Spirit of Light. Strong’s Hebrew Number 216 in the Concordance shows the Hebrew word for “Light” to be a feminine gendered noun. In Hebrew it is transliterated “or” Primary definition : Light.

Strong’s  Greek Concordance Number 1438 defines choices for the gender of the Holy Spirit. In current Bibles the Holy Spirit comforter (John 16:13) is referred to as both “he” and “himself.”  Number 1438 in the Concordance shows there are three choices in the definition of the Greek word “εαυτου”; “himself, herself, itself.” This Bible translates all references to the New Testament Holy Spirit to be feminine as “herself,” “she” or “her,” which is the same feminine gender of the Spirit in the Old Testament. 

The Old Testament Spirit is like a dove, like the New Testament Holy Spirit. Strongs Concordance describes them both as being like a feminine dove. Strong’s Greek Number 4058 in the Concordance shows the Greek word for “Dove” to be a feminine gendered noun. In Greek as περιστερaν it is transliterated “peristera.” Definition: a Dove.  Strong’s Hebrew Number 3123 in the Concordance also shows the Hebrew word for “Dove” to be a feminine gendered noun. In Hebrew it is transliterated “yonah.” Definition: Dove.

The Dove in the New Testament is described like this: and the Holy Spirit descended in a bodily form, as a dove, upon him.(Jesus the saviour of spiritual life), (Luke 3;22, also Mat 3:16, Mark 1:10, John 1:32)
The Dove in the Old Testament is described like this: the dove found no rest for the sole of her foot, and she returned unto him to the ark; for the waters were on the face of the whole earth: and he (Noah the saviour of mortal life) put forth his hand, and took her, and brought her in unto him into the ark.(Gen 8:7-12) The OT dove, marked 777, is described feminine six times: her foot, she returned, Noah took her, brought her unto him, also in her mouth an olive-leaf, and she returned not again.

The previous resources for translation show only a few selected examples of what makes this FTV Bible unique.
