Commentary: The imagery of God’s Word on the cross includes the cleansing power of water, if even the water of baptism. It is likened to a second birth in the water of the soul in the Cross of Three Births. The simplicity of Jesus’ Salvation Formula, 1—2—3—4th step result (Eternal life) is illustrated again with this Well Water Cross, a title that was not added in the above picture. In Jesus’ Witness Cipher a commitment was made to name each cross with its verse number in order to glorify Scripture as the SEEable Word of God. The above is one of many pictures of the cross with a 4th step result (Eternal life) that Jesus showed us after three days in the grave; he arose on the third day as the 4th step result—Eternal life.
