Cipher 42. Kingdom of God Entry Through 3 Births (John 3:1-16)
1. WHO? (3:1) There was a man of the Pharisees, named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews:
2. WHY did he come? (3:2) He said, Rabbi, we know that thou art a teacher come from God;
3. HOW can one do these signs? (3:3-4) AMEN, AMEN, Except one be born anew, he cannot see the kingdom of God. Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter a second time into his mother’s womb, and be born?
4. WHAT must be done? (3:5) AMEN, AMEN, Except one be born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God!
5. WHEN born of what? (3:6-7) That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Marvel not when I said unto thee, Ye must be born anew.
6. WHERE is the Spirit? (3:8) The wind bloweth where it will and thou hearest the voice theref, but knowest not whence it cometh, and where it goeth;
7. WHICH way? (3:8-16) so is everyone that is born of the Spirit. John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth on him should not perish, but have eternal life.

Commentary: Jesus had trouble explaining new spiritual concepts to Nicodemus, who asked can he enter a second time into his mother’s womb, and be born? Jesus answered him by explaining there must be a birth through the flesh, water, and spirit before entry into the Kingdom of God of both heaven and earth. But why does God so love the world on the foot of the above cross? We are His living children on earth as described in the Tree of All Living.
